    Quality does not affect PNG encoding. Smaller bytes or a target KB are not guaranteed. Choose white for JPG.

      A quick worked example

      For an 800×600 photo, target 1200×1200, padding mode and upscaling off: the photo remains 800×600, centered with 200px on each side and 300px above and below. Fit mode exports 800×600.

      Limitations and important checks

      No cropping or background removal. SVG, GIF, HEIC and RAW are unsupported. Animation becomes a still frame. Metadata and color profiles are not guaranteed to survive. Review orientation, transparency and colors. Use smaller batches on memory-limited devices.
